Android 10 is installed in the PC. Welcome to BlissOS 12 – Linux Minutes

Android 10 is now available on your PC thanks to the new Updated Bliss OS 12. They say they are in the alpha stage, but they look good so far.

As the developer states, this OS can be installed on Linux, Windows, or Chromebook PCs. You can also install it on your old Mac with a new hard drive and Intel processor.

Bliss OS is based on an open source project called the Android Open Source Project. As the website directs, “Bliss OS is an Android-based open source OS with many customization options and additional security features.” It is also compatible with ARM and ARM64 APPS. They have added many Tincore Keymapper gamepad and profile configurations that allow users to play Android games on their controller. I used this keymapper myself, but when I played Honkai Impact 3rd, I was able to remap the screen that touched the XBOX 1 controller button. So this works even if the OS is on Alpha Stage.

The main focus was on design, giving users many options for globally customizing devices and themes throughout the operating system. Customization features are set for many options, from small screens to large screens and, of course, touch screens. There are also optimizations to make your PC “battery friendly” by adjusting various levels, giving you more control over what your PC actually uses when running on battery power.

The fact that they make this operating system fully customizable and pleasing to the eye does not mean that they have despised it in terms of performance. According to the website, the OS is built “with a focus on speed and stability with fine-tuning to support the most demanding applications.” The OS allows users to choose a desktop or tablet interface design based on the launcher they use. Developers even state that the two can be combined for a truly customized experience.

You can also install the Google Play Store to download your favorite apps and games.

Catch now.

To download and use this new Alpha build, you need to sign up to become a tester. As the developer mentioned in the GitHub forum. Not for the timid. We also recommend that you choose to install on an existing NTFS or Windows partition and not format it from the USB installer. they again…

“Team Bliss is not responsible for anything that happens to your device during the installation process.”

I myself broke and created a 100GB NTFS partition on a spare 500GB hard drive and see how it installs with no windows, just a formatted partition. This should be an interesting venture.

I’m working on a video for installing and reviewing PeachOS, so I’ll post that video on Friday, December 6, 2019, or perhaps Saturday, July 12, 2019. I will post the video on YouTube and the main website here on the new video channel page I created to save my video. We will keep you up to date, but please check back often. 😊

If you would like to try this Android system, please follow the link to sign up for Alpha Test while still open signing up. The developer said …

“We have started the first test round of Bliss OS 12 based on Android 10.”

Bliss OS 12 Alpha sign up

You need to sign up as an alpha tester so that developers can be notified in case of problems, rather than sending an email from the website. As the developer stated on the website, as I quoted the following three paragraphs.

“These should be considered” under development “and are not intended for general use. It is expected that bug reports and issues will be accompanied by some logs. Whether in the form of an attachment or a link to Hastebin. It just has to be a log. If you post a screenshot saying “it doesn’t work”, it doesn’t go that far. We tend to help only those who help ourselves. Think of them as your personal Jesus Christ. (The Matrix pun)

“That said, the download is a bit hidden in this round. We’ve added a secret download button to the Bliss OS 12 Alpha Build website. The secret code that reveals it is this first post. It’s hidden in (somewhere). “

“Go to BlissRoms-x86.github.io. The BlissOS12 Alpha Tester section is just below the download section. There is a text box or Bliss-Bot for entering the secret code. If you understand it correctly, the download button will be Appears and Bliss-Bot bye bye:'(“

Bliss OS 12 isn’t a stable release yet, but keep in mind that it’s progressing.

The GitHub Distro site has only release 11.10

When you visit the download page, the developer has a little Easter egg type access to get the latest download. I went to send a message to the developers on Twitter and understood it when I saw the banner on the main page.

The password is ….. well, I don’t reveal it. It’s on the development thread page. They especially ask others not to share it, as it spoils the fun for everyone. We’re sorry, but it doesn’t go against the wishes of the developers. 👍🌌

If you find the secret code, do not share it. Let’s give some fun to the others here as well.

Tip 1: If you followed on Twitter, you’re probably guessing now. 😜

Tip 2: All secret codes are lowercase.

Tip 3: Keep reading the OP until you get to the secret code

Have fun reading and want to see some bug reports soon

Bliss OS12

If you’re really adventurous, you can always build your own OS. Specifications for building your own OS are provided. Follow the instructions on GitHub provided by the developer.

Bliss Rom for PC builds

  • Latest Ubuntu LTS release https://ift.tt/2f7rMZ2
  • Decent CPU (more than dual core for faster performance)
  • 8GB RAM (16GB for virtual machines)
  • 250GB hard drive (approx. 170GB for repository, build required space)

Also, post the remaining installation warnings with a link to the guide. If you have any questions, you can contact the developers directly and communicate with coevals in the forums. Everything after this point will be sent directly from the website.

Before proceeding, make sure you understand how to install and what goes wrong. Download the version of Bliss that is appropriate for your particular device. The link has a clear label.

Moved the documentation to part of the documentation site

**Please be careful**

For this release, we recommend that you install on an existing NTFS or Windows partition and choose not to format it from the USB installer.

  • See the installation guide for the main steps to use Bliss OS.
  • If you were bound in the installation, you will see a troubleshooting section.
  • See the Extras section for some add-ons and other information about installing Bliss OS.
  • Also, if you’re ready to start building and testing a new one, check out the BlissOS Build Guide.
  • When you’re ready to contribute to your project, we also have a Git Started guide to help you get things done in Gerrit.

If you understand what this OS is and what it represents, yell out to the developers on Twitter.
