Cut out junk Micropsoft – Here’s how to customize Windows 10 – CK Technology News

So you can do a fresh install of the entire OS from scratch and ask yourself or your favorite search engine “why can you do this?” Yes, this article is for you only. There are some popular tools and we’ll take a quick look at them – NTLite, MSGM Toolkit, WinReducer & WinToolkit are well known.

First of all

It is highly recommended to make a backup of your system partition before running such a program. Please note that you need a Windows 10 ISO image or a Windows 10 DVD as it will be used as the base image for your custom version. Backup is important here because some programs can operate the current OS.

MSGM toolkit

Unless this tool is all other free programs, the only downside is that it doesn’t provide a GUI. The developers have already promised to integrate the GUI, but nothing else.

Does it look like bash’y? You don’t have to worry about setup. The procedure specified is self-explanatory.

The project is well documented and mostly updated on all current Windows versions. That is, it supports all variants. The program will display the EULA at the start, but you must accept this to continue. When the MSGM Toolkit presses the a button and accepts it, it will perform several scans, for example, to detect the operating system version and make sure that all the necessary tools are available. These are stored in the MSMGToolkit folder.

The main screen is easy to understand and you can perform actions just by entering numbers. I’ve added a video to show an example.

This program is by far the best program, but it lacks the proper GUI, so once it’s fixed, it’s generally recommended to use it.

NTLite

This program supports all versions of Windows 7 and above, including Windows 10. MSGMToolkit does not provide a GUI, but this tool definitely works. The biggest drawback is that the program is not free and its functionality is limited when used in “free mode”. The licensing model is a nightmare and the developer refuses to change it – of course it’s up to him, but the price is simply expensive for the features you get.

Clean interface and surprisingly easy to use.

The program does the job of it, and there aren’t many problems you encounter with it, you can integrate and get rid of things as you wish. Works with online or offline images. This means you can change it on your current OS or work with a previously downloaded ISO image. Please note that the MSGM toolkit does not provide online functionality, but it can cause problems with current Windows operations. Make a backup and if you are not sure, do not touch it first or contact an expert.

The program will get my recommendation as the author changes the licensing model or offers it to free mode more functionally. However, it is the easiest to use, and beginners in particular will love its features and possibilities.

WinReducer

Personally, I don’t like this program, even though WinReducer isn’t completely free. Many of its features are locked and you need to purchase a license that lasts only 6 to 24 months to unlock all features. Most links in the program only link to your store with more “features”.

The main screen is very minimal.

The program works well and the GUI is fast, but the navigation to find some things is a bit confusing and you have to click a lot to find a particular section like “Updates Downloader”. At this point I say the program is okay, but if you’re willing to pay for something, it’s better to invest money in NT Lite as it’s easy to use and cheap overall.

My conclusion is that you should consider using other programs. This tool isn’t bad, but it’s just a weird licensing model, and you still have to pay for additional features even after you’ve paid for the main program itself. Support isn’t bad, but overall it can’t conflict with that consent.

Win Toolkit

It was absolutely my favorite tool at the time, but unfortunately Microsoft’s frequently updated policy doesn’t get as many updates as needed to keep up2date.

The interface is clean and describes its features.

This program is free to use, but you can also donate something to unlock special features. This allows, for example, this small program to directly download the official Windows ISO.

Includes some registry tweaks like NTLite if you want to activate or add your own, just as all other programs integrate updates or remove certain features. It is. This program is really good for beginners. You need a startup internet connection to verify your license. This is a bit annoying, but I understand that.

What is the best program?

That’s a difficult question. Use MSGM if you need a free open source program, but use NTLite if you can afford some money.
