This article was written for those who have difficulty downloading and installing BMW software for the Foxwell NT510 Elite on a PC (MAC not supported). Whether you are planning to add new BMW software in the near future, or you have not chosen the option to preload BMW software when you purchased the machine before, you can refer to this article.

So how is BMW software displayed on the NT510 Elite screen?

Please prepare these hardware and software first:
NT510 Elite scan tool
PC application FoxAssist (download from foxwelltech.us)
PC or laptop with USB ports (not support MAC)
internet service
Your computer configuration must meet these requirements:
Operating System: Windows 7, Windows 8 and Windows 10.
CPU: Intel PⅢ or better
RAM: 64MB or better
Hard Disk Space: 30MB or better
Screen: 800 * 600 pixels, 16 bytes true color screen or better
Internet Explorer 4.0 or higher

Visit www.foxwelltech.us.
Click “Update Tools FoxAssist” and then “Save File”
“FoxAssistSetu_V1.05.003.exe”.

Choose the target location.
Next…
Installing the FoxAssist Setup Wizard.
Complete the setup.
Then restart the computer.
Open the “FoxAssist” application on the desktop -> click “Sign up” -> enter your email and password -> click “Sign in”.
We enter the FoxAssist menu, it has options: Download, Activate, Report, Remove, Data Manager, Settings, User Information …
After clicking “Enable”, read the message “Please insert Micro SD card” and watch to do.
Enter the serial number on the back of Foxwell NT510Elite), click “Activate” and wait until you see “successfully activated”.
Click “Download” -> cConnect the NT510 Elite to Windows PC via USB cable -> select “Update” (or use SD card reader directly to connect SD card to PC), then you will see “Installing device driver software” in the right corner of the computer.
Your device is ready to use and the micro SD card has been inserted.
Update: There is no vehicle software preinstalled on the device. Please select a car software to download and install.
There are dozens of Car software in the list, choose “BMW” and then click “Offer”.
Get the latest BMW software and OBDII…, Click “Update”.
