Google’s Chrome, the new younger brother of the browser family, moved from beta to final version on December 11, 2008.
The browser market is dominated by Internet Explorer, about 70%, and the rest by the fast-growing FireFox. As Google began distributing many free products to the market, they entered the browser market in October 2008 with the Chrome beta release.
Now they have announced that the beta has reached the final product stage within 100 days. This is the shortest period Google has ever used to build a product from beta to the actual final version.
“We will be hiring more users,” said Linus Upson, Google’s engineering director. “And we always have releases that push the boundaries of new features, we told The New York Times.
Google Chrome is still working, so there are still some bugs. Forum sites and flash sites are almost not functioning properly. Even the most complex e-commerce sites are still having problems.
The main attraction of Chrome is the historical image view. An additional feature added is the Inspect Element option (shown in the figure above). This will help you identify the programming structure and other factors of your website that are suitable for you.
